Happy Women's Day

Wmone'day

In Viet Nam, everyday is women's day but there are some really special days for them including March 8th, October 20th and many other days which seem especially related to women such as teacher's day and valentine's day.

Women's day

8/3 of this year was such a special day at work because we bought lots of beautiful roses and gifts to give to the female staff and to customers. The smiles on their faces is proof that they enjoyed the day.

Women's day

What else can men do besides giving women flowers and gifts? A passionate kiss, a sweet comment whispered in their ear to wish them luck :) Anything else?

  4. Well, since you're asking, men could do more around the house, instead of letting the women do all the chores and expecting females to serve them. But I guess that would be too radical a change for the Vietnamese culture...

  9. I forgot about it ;-). Most of the countries that celebrate women's day are current communist regime or former. I have friends who are from Russia also celebrate, but in Brussels, there are nothing like that. Instead they celebrate valentine big time but it isn't the same ;-))))

  10. My husband said they have Women's Day in Yugoslavia as well, and in many Eastern European countries. Here in the U.S. we have Mother's Day and of course Valentine's Day, so women do get celebrated throughout the year.

To god knows: I totally agree with you. It is not a good idea at all. Woman’s arse is/are not for kicking. I am very sure of that.

To Pip Squeak : If you don’t know what to do with woman’s arse. Meet me up. You provide the woman’s; I provide my dexterity. I am sure you will learn a thing or two. For what it’s worth, woman’s arse is/are far more of use than you can envisage.

  17. Women should not have a day of their own, that's my humble opinion. Still many people are celebrating this day.

People in vn celebrate but dont know the real meaning on most holidays. There is no equality for woman in vn. Dan ong o vn ma hieu duoc y nghia ngay phu nu chac het dam tang bong va het chuc mung.

Chuc cac phu nu vn hom nay van con bi dan ong di nhau ve sin danh dap va an hiep may tre em con gai nhe. Oct 20th : A true day to celebrate phu nu vn :)

We laugh at the humor in vn.

  24. March 8th 2019, is a day to celebrate the social, political and economic achievements of women, and focus attention on areas still needing action. Flowers are a wonderful way to celebrate the victories and recognize the ongoing struggles women face around the globe.
