Holiday is coming and I am so excited about that. I have been planning this trip for quite awhile and Greece is my next destination. I went to the Greek Embassy this morning to apply for my visa. I am a bit worried even though I shouldn't be.
I met a Vietnamese member of the embassy staff and she's a really nice woman. She showed me how to prepare all of the papers and introduced me to the visa officer. I have to wait for a few days before they call me for an interview. I hope everything goes well and they will accept my visa. Wish me luck !!!

Have a great trip. It's a beautiful place, as far as I can tell from photos — I look forward to sharing a few of yours.
(Is that a garlic burger?)
Thanks guys.
Thats garlic bread.
BEAUTIFUL PICS, thanks for sharing!!! I've always wanted to travel to VN at least once, but that won't be possible, so seeing all these pics is awesome! You not only caught the breath-taking views but also the true lifestyle of many ppl in VN. Ofcourse, the lifestyle of most is not that glamorous & there are so many povery-stricken areas, so by spreading pics/info about all the wonderful places to see & go, VN will continue to grow!!!! AHHH.....seeing these pics really makes me want to go there!!! Did you try any exotic fruits, all my friends tell me that there are fruit orchids, such as lychee, nhan, chom-chom...., that you can come in and pay a flat fee to eat all that you can stuff into your tummy! Wow...my favorite is mang-cut, so the truth is I want to come back and just eat all the fuits I can get my hands on!!! Hmm....considering I have to pay $5/lb for some "so-called" fresh mang-cut here in the US, it tastes like sugar-gold to me....I'm sure eating it fresh from the tree would be HEAVEN!!! Thanks so much for these pics, even though I was born here, VN is still my home and I'm so happy that tourists find it a beautiful country and contribute to its growth!!! Have a fun & safe trip in Greece, I'll be sure to come back and take a look at all the great pics!!!
Everything is good about your blog.
Your talents are to be admired. Keep up the good work, stay grounded and be brave in all you do.
I'm a fifty something year old Vietnam veteran who was in your country when I had just turned 18 in 1970. I love to hear about your country now and have always said that if we had spent just half as much time, energy and money investing in trying to understand and accept the vietnamese people as we did in trying to destroy Vietnam, both countries would be much better for it. Anyway, I'm glad you and your country are progressing and healing. Take care, PEACE, Larry
