She sells a variety of different kinds of noodles (vermicelli and pho) with chicken and chicken's organs. If you ever go to this place, ask her to leave out the MSG. Because she’s from Hanoi, she adds it without thinking. The soup's good in the mornings and they are open at night, too. Another member of the family takes over to sell sticky rice, noodles and other chicken dishes.

Heather,
What a beautiful site. I don't know french but it sounds wonderful also.
She's like the Soup Nazi on the old TV show "Seinfeld". He ran a lunch counter that sold soup was real mean to people!
I really like the posts of street food and street restaurants. Petit
Hanoi - msg is a must...lolz....they heap a teaspoon of msg when i had my pho there. TOld her I dont want the msg and all she said was, it wont be nice without MSG
it's strange...even in Singapore...we have many swearing hawkers too...the amazing thing is that the customers keep on coming back for more!
Hey Junebee,
Hahaha..I immediately thought of the same thing, the soup Nazi in Seinfeld..."no soup for you!!!". I still watch all of its rerun.
Godknows, is her food all worth it? I'm pretty sure there are good joints in SG to enjoy chicken noodle soup and not having to listen to the owner's potty mouth.
Her soup is worth it.
Yes, heather, that is a fabulous site.
This place have caught many students from Tran Dai Nghia highschool and their parents sitting for breakfast. Nice spot to spend few time of the early morning, then you can take a cup of Cappucinno by just walking some stpes to Metropolitan building near there.
